About Sruchi
Sruchi studied Film & Television at UCLA and had the chance to write and direct a short rom-com as her thesis film. Sruchi is passionate about writing and directing authentic narratives and is constantly inspired by the evolving representation of her own South Asian community in the media. She is the Head of Community at Rickshaw Film Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at fostering South Asian storytellers’ voices through programs and community development. After graduating in June 2023, she is excited to keep creating and continue defining what true representation means in this industry.
