About Anthony
Originally from South Carolina, Anthony McCallum’s journey to Los Angeles is, in many ways, what drives his passion for the business of storytelling. Years before joining Rain, Anthony lived and competed in the world of elite gymnastics, and that 20-year experience brought countless people, places, and challenges that would expand his vision beyond the coveted (and at the time only) goal of reaching the Olympics. Now as a former US National Team member, three-time NCAA champion, and Film, TV & Media graduate from the University of Michigan, Anthony proudly brings the discipline, creativity, and collaborative mindset that led to those achievements to his work in the entertainment industry.
Since landing in LA, Anthony has built experience across entertainment in a non-linear way. He started by working in the social media and creator landscape for companies like Snapchat and then followed his passion for documentaries by working as a Production Coordinator on various doc projects. During this most recent chapter of his career, Anthony is particularly passionate about discovering and supporting emerging talent, uplifting diverse stories, and creating opportunities at the intersection of entertainment and culture.
Outside of some of his favorites like Get Out, The Truman Show, the Divergent series, Black Mirror, Game of Thrones, and Broad City, Anthony can be the most unpredictable consumer of media. At any given time, you can also find him watching Love Island or Antiques Roadshow. He’s also an avid watcher of tennis, self-proclaimed Sudoku genius, and lover of Saturday brunch with friends.
